Northstar Attachments is recognized as a high quality and innovative manufacturer of specialized attachments and equipment designed primarily for tractors. Northstar also builds select attachments for backhoes, skid-steer loaders and ATV's.
In 1988, Wayne Hahn organized L & W Sales and Mfg., Inc. The company first developed as a custom manufacturer of products serving orchard, vineyard and hop industries. In June of 1999 L & W Sales and Mfg. was purchased by Rankin Equipment Co. and became L & W Manufacturing LLC. In 2005 our company name changed to Northstar Attachments LLC.
Today Northstar manufacturers over 175 products for commercial hay, orchard, vineyard, nursery, equine, landscape, light construction, general farm and weekend farmer markets.
Northstar’s manufacturing processes include: shearing, sawing, forming, bending, welding, fabrication, machining, painting and assembly. We have recently installed a state-of-the-art powder coat paint system. Products are thoroughly cleaned with an abrasive blasting process and electrostatically painted with powder and baked in a high temperature oven that produces the ultimate in finished durability and appearance.
Northstar products are offered throughout the United States by a network of wholesale distributors and select dealers.
